It is my goal through photography, to help empower & inspire each person to be true; to find the courage to stand up for who they are without fear of stigma or judgement; to pursue their passion and to learn what being happy means. Each person can make a difference with compassion, kindness and love, and my intention is to do just that.
If you can accept yourself, you find that others will accept you too, and you will no longer need to try and be someone else. Photo-therapy sessions differ from other kinds of photography, not only in the concept but in the ability to photograph in this style that I have developed, after photographing children and adults with all abilities and who have faced many challenges, for over 20 years. Only when the foundation of trust is built through respect, patience, and understanding will you feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable and open up in front of the camera. To be authentic means to be completely open to acknowledging, accepting, trusting and believing in yourself, without the pressure of others influencing your choices. You will find it liberating to discover and love the person that you are.
Emotions are not tangible. Photo-therapy helps take those emotions and transfers them to a media that almost anyone can relate to. An image becomes a powerful reflection of what you think and feel. You have the ability to change the way you view yourself and I can help you take that next step. The camera is my creative tool to help facilitate your journey.
Although my availability is limited, I do have a few openings, so if you would like to get in contact with me; especially if you have a friend or family in a critical situation, or have a special project you would like to discuss, please don't hesitate to email me email@example.com
